Secret #2: The Secret to Bearing Fruit.
- The secret to bearing fruit is abiding in the vine (John 15:4-5).
- People can bear fruit that is not the Lord’s fruit (Matt. 7:16).
- People can do religious things that are vain, which means “empty” or “meaningless” (Matt. 15:9).
- They will be rejected for eternity (Matt. 7:22-23).
- Those who do not abide in Christ will be cast out (John 15:6).
Secret #3: The Secret to Abiding in the Vine.
- The secret to abiding is keeping His commandments (I John 3:24).
- Those who do not abide in the doctrine of Christ do not have a relationship with the Father or the Son (II John 1:9).
- Those who say they abide in Christ ought to walk just as He walked (I John 2:6).
- Those who abide in Christ will not be ashamed when He comes again (I John 2:28).
