Similarities Between God and Satan

GOD AND SATAN

Differences:

God is eternal; Satan is created (Ps. 93:2, Col. 1:16, Ezek. 28:13-16)
God is omnipresent; Satan is localized (Ps. 139:7, Jer. 23:24, Job 1:7)
God is omnipotent; Satan is under God’s control (Job 1:12, Job 2:6, 1 Cor. 10:13)
God is omniscient; Satan is not (2 Chr. 16:9)
God is good; Satan is evil (Ex. 34:6, Ps. 52:1, 1 John 2:13)

Similarities:

Both are interested in the souls of men (1 Tim. 2:4, 2 Pet. 3:9, Ezek. 33:11, 1 Pet. 5:8, Luke 22:31-32)
Both have their ministers (2 Cor. 4:7, Rom. 10:14, 1 Cor. 1:21, 2 Cor. 11:14-15, Mat. 7:15)
Both have children (John 1:12, Rom. 8:21, 1 John 3:1, John 8:43-44, 1 John 3:10)
Both work in accordance with the will of man (Rev. 3:20, Matt. 16:24, John 4:14 with Rev. 22:17, Josh. 24:15)
