Let Us Connect

I have reflected regarding what I might say that would connect to all of us together during this world health crisis. Thinking about it led me to reason that God is the connection that we have. Despite our age, ethnicity, our physical location, our career, our financial status and many other demographics, we share a major connection. We are God’s creation and have been placed in this world to do the best we can to follow His will and as part of that will to love Him and love our neighbor. This is an active love that is true, deep and is far beyond the demographics. The differences we have make no difference in a true analysis of what we are on the earth and what our purpose is. We face another crisis now that can either find us loving God and loving others or find us ignoring God and hoarding goods and services. The Bible is replete in evidence that demonstrates what love is and what it means. Christ is our supreme example of love and sacrifice. We have the opportunity to connect with God and work together with others and move forward. God is our connection. Let us connect.
